Plastic Surgery FAQs
in Denver, Colorado
Will my insurance company pay for a cosmetic surgery procedure?
Most, if not all, insurances do not pay for cosmetic surgery. There are the occasional procedures, however, that are considered borderline of in some ways reconstructive. Examples of these are breast reduction surgery or nasal surgery when it follows an injury, or involves the ability to breath through one's nose. Other than that, if there is any definition of “cosmetic”, insurance companies run the other way.
