Do you wish for linger, fuller lashes? For Latisse in Denver, Dr. Squires provides many patients with just the lush, full lashes they are seeking.
Latisse extends the amount of time your hair will remain in its growth cycle. When applied to your eyelashes, the result is longer, thicker, darker, and lusher eyelashes.
The Latisse solution is to be applied to the base of your eyelashes once daily, preferably at night before you go to sleep. Generally, you should notice a difference in your eyelashes within 8 weeks, but it generally takes up to 16 weeks to see the full results — and in order to maintain lasting results, you will need to continue using Latisse.
The FDA has determined Lastisse to be safe and effective. In order to achieve maximum effectiveness, it is important to follow all instructions properly and make sure you do not miss an application.
Fast, easy and highly effective treatments for acne have arrived! The Isolaz Acne Light therapy helps to treat and prevent comedones and pustules, those everyday “zits” that many people get that are inflamed and red as well as blackheads and whiteheads. Unfortunately, larger and more severe acne lesions such as cysts and nodules tend to not respond as well.
While many things work well for many different kinds of acne and there is no “one size fits all” approach, at Squires Plastic Surgery and Medical Skin Care we have approximately an 85% success rate. At the time of consultation, we will confirm that you are indeed a candidate before you start Isolaz treatments. Choosing the proper candidates is how we keep a high success rate. Remember the Isolaz is FDA approved only for pustular and comedonal acne, not cystic acne.
How does it work?
Isolaz uses an original breakthrough technology that combines vacuum and pain free laser to deep cleanse, extract and purify pores from the inside out. This technology is called Photopneumatics and is a one-of-a-kind treatment for acne used across the world.
When will I see results?
Results can be seen in as little as 48 hours. What you may see is a lightening of the redness (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), reduction in size of the breakouts and less oil production. This is because the oil and bacteria are immediately suctioned from the follicle resulting in clearer appearance of the skin very quickly. The Isolaz Acne Light ultimately helps the skin to heal at a faster rate than normal.
Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime associated with this procedure. You will leave the office slightly red. This will calm down in 30 minutes to an hour. It is easily covered with tinted sunscreen or mineral-based powder. The Isolaz is a very popular “lunchtime” procedure. You can return to normal activities immediately after treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies by severity of the acne. Most patients need 4-10 treatments at weekly intervals. Bi-monthly maintenance is recommended after a series.
Can the Isolaz be combined with other facial treatments?
Absolutely, it is encouraged to prepare the skin with an in-office glycolic peel the same day of treatment or a beta peel a few days prior. Detoxifying facials can also be done between treatments to extract stubborn blackheads and congestion in the pores.
The Isolaz can also be used in conjunction with Levulan. Typically, this is incorporated after a few treatments for severe and non-respondent acne.
Are there any contraindications?
You should not have Acne Light therapy if you have used Accutane in the last 4-6 months, are on blood thinners, used Retin-A in the last 48 hours or recently waxed the area to be treated. If you are on antibiotics for acne, you can still receive Isolaz Acne Light therapy.
Are there any side effects?
A temporary side effect that rarely happens is bruising on the temples, forehead or nose due to the vacuum on the machine. Please notify your technician if you bruise easily so that the vacuum can be lowered to prevent this from happening.
What does the treatment feel like?
The Acne Light Therapy is painless. You will feel a gentle and warm sensation as your skin is drawn into the treatment tip. A pulse of light energy will be applied to the treatment area, immediately after you will feel your skin being gently released back into the normal position.
Both men and women desire to appear their best and as we age, this can mean different things to different people. Our genetics and the lives we’ve lived all take a part in forming how we age. For some, diet and exercise alone may be able to achieve the desired results. For others, more drastic measures may be taken to achieve the desired results.

Do you have a difficult time filling out the seat portion of your pants and wish there were a little more filling in your back-end? If so, you may be a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift.
While a healthy diet and exercise regime are an important part of a healthy lifestyle, they have their limits as far as adding muscle and weight in the areas we desire. Our bodies have a natural figure that we are born with and we will continue to gain and lose weight in the same areas for the rest of our lives. While some people are born with a naturally buxom buttock, others find it next to impossible to gain or maintain any kind of shape back there.
A Brazilian Butt Lift is performed through fat grafting (where fat is donating from another area of your body). Take a look at these before and after Brazilian Butt Lift photos to get an idea of the kind of results possible through a Brazilian Butt Lift in Denver.

Question for Denver Plastic Surgeon Dr. John Squires about the Ultimate Breast Lift:
Most surgeon’s websites describe the ‘anchor or lollipop’ incision for breast lift – are there any Denver-area plastic surgeons certified on the “ultimate breast lift’ procedure?
Answer from Dr. John Squires:
The Ultimate Breast Lift describes a breast lift that uses an incision around the areola and in the crease underneath the breast to avoid the vertical incision of traditional lifts. I have done many of these lifts and frequently use just an incision around the areola for smaller lifts. I frequently use an implant in combination with this lift to give the breast better shape.
